Episode 06: Season wrap-up - what I’ve learned creating my first podcast
That’s a wrap for season one of That’s Different! Thanks for being here to support my first ever podcast.
Rather than an interview, in this episode I reflect on what I’ve learned, how I’m feeling, and what’s next for That’s Different.
Episode 05: They told her it would never work - Ritual Yoga CEO, Lindsey Kaalberg on defying industry standards and building an ethical powerhouse yoga company
Lindsey is the CEO of Ritual Hot Yoga, a series of luxury yoga studios in San Francisco and Chicago, with a unique offering. When you walk into Ritual, it feels like home, it’s all-inclusive and the classes themselves are set in a heated, candlelit room, with pumping music. It’s a mix of soul-searching meditations, vulnerability, challenging flows, and nourishing moments of massage and eucalyptus towels.
Episode 04: Michelle Halpern - the journey to full-time travel blogging and how to Live Like It's The Weekend
For me, travel blogging has always been THE fantasy lifestyle. You get to make your own hours, travel around the globe, and experience incredible things in exotic locations.
It almost doesn’t seem real or attainable. Yet, there are so many people out there showcasing this ideal life.
Episode 03: Jelle Hermus - Happiness in the every day
In this episode of That’s Different we speak with a very inspiring friend of mine: Jelle Hermus.
Jelle is an author, entrepreneur, and thought-leader about positivity. His blog soCHICKEN has a huge following in the Netherlands, when he lives with his partner and newly adopted baby boy.
Bonus Episode! Unconventional lives, exploring purpose, why I started this pod
In this super-short episode I share why I started this podcast and where I hope it will take us this season.
Episode 02: Rachel Faller of Tonlé - creating a zero-waste brand from scratch
This episode we get to know Rachel Faller, the founder and owner of Tonlé, a zero-waste and ethical clothing brand.
We learn how Rachel’s trip to Cambodia during university led to her moving across the globe to create a company that has since grown into a multinational business.
Episode 01: Val+Tim - The Nomads Bus
We start off season one of That’s Different with Val and Tim of the Nomad’s Bus. Val and Tim are a couple who have created a rolling hostel out of a converted American schoolbus. The bus is equipped with 6 bunks, a bedroom, a woodturning stove, dining area, bathroom, shower, and the crown jewel: a rooftop terrace!
